Strawberry Cobbler


As someone who home cooks and makes videos out of them , I am always trying to share recipes that will expand people's knowledge on cooking like so many chefs and cooks have done for me. However, with this one, not only are the ingredients basic but the method is too! 

Filling

350g Frozen Strawberries thawed 
Caster sugar (1/4 cup) 
1 tsp Cinnamon 

Cake Batter 

Dry Ingredients- 
Plain Flour ( 1 cup)
Melted Butter (1/2 cup) 
Caster Sugar (3/4 cup) 
1/4 tsp salt
2 tsp Baking Powder 

Wet Ingredients-
1 Egg
250 ml Milk 

1. Preheat oven to 180 c for 10 minutes
2. Combine the dry ingredients 
3. Add the wet ingredients to dry and Whisk till no raw flour visible 
4. Straight in the packet the Strawberries came in , or a seperate bowl combine the filling ingredients 
5. To oven dish, add butter 
6. Not mixing , add the cake batter on top 
7. Not mixing, scatter the filling on top ( or at least as much as you can 
8. Place in oven for 40 minutes 
9. Remove from oven and allow to cool for 1 hour, also this will allow for straughter cuts 
10. Sprinkle Icing sugar ( optional) and serve with ice cream , cream or as is!
