Blackberry Chai Blondies!



Prep Time- 15 minutes, Cooking Time- 40 minutes,  

2 tsp Chai Tea Spice Blend ( i.e. ¼ teaspoon each- Cinnamon, Nutmeg, Cloves, Cardamom)  

150g ( 1 cup) Blackberries coated in 2 TBSP of flour  

*150g ( 1 cup) butterscotch chips  

150g White Chocolate  

70g (1/2 cup) Plain Flour  

60g (1/2 cup) Almond Flour  

 *(1 cup) Salted Butter Butter 

1 TSP Baking Powder  

1 Egg  

3 TBS Milk 

1 Cup of White Sugar ( you are after blondies not brownies here so the lighter the better hehe)  

 

  1. Preheat the oven to 170 c (10 minutes min for fan) and line a 8 by 8inch  
  2. Meanwhile you can do the rest of the steps; In a medium saucepan on low heat add the coconut oil, chocolate stirring constantly with a cooking spoon (using a whisk here, I have been told will end up in the brownie sinking, so I am told)  
  3. Add your sugar stir, add both kinds of flour stir just until you see no flour, and add your baking powder ( and salt if using unsalted butter)  
  4. Turn off heat 
  5. Add Egg stir, add 3 tbsp milk  
  6. Place in oven and bake for 40 minutes
